Job Summary
Perform the complete preparation of the molding machine in order to produce good parts. Conduct the necessary activities to maintain expected levels of production and quality of the components manufactured.
Job Details/Responsibilities
Conduct the necessary inspections and analysis with the proper machinery and report/interpret performance results. Follow the manufacturing process procedures. Perform troubleshooting analysis as required. Ensure quality is a top priority; promote teamwork as the key strategy to get the work done.
Mold set up - Install / remove the ejector system, connect / remove water lines, install / remove electric circuits, etc.
Machine set up - Install / remove conveyors, robots, chillers, temperature controllers, loading system, auxiliary equipment, etc.
Machine start-up / shut-down – Set up molding parameters and make the necessary changes in order to optimize cycle and quality.
Ensure compliance with all TPR procedures and all applicable regulatory agency requirements.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)
Capacities to calculate, coordinate, detect, evaluate, interview, inspect, and collect.
Capacity to establish positive interpersonal relations.
Ability to work under pressure, initiative and good judgment when fulfilling duties.
Must be trained in Molding Process Training which includes three levels: Basic Molding Machine Operations, Basic Injection Molding, and Skill Builder for Basic Injection Molding.
Must be capable to read and understand documents both in English and Spanish.
Assist training workshops in/outside of Puerto Rico as required.
Qualifications/ Background Experiences
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in an Operator role preferred.
Experience in molding process (injection preferable) and molding machines (hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic) desirable.
