Job Summary
Provide technical, clinical, and educational support for all neurovascular (NV) products with the focus on new technologies. Provide didactic, hands-on, pre-clinical, clinical training, and case support to physicians, all hospital personnel, and customers. Lead and support sales and marketing training, clinical education, and understanding of competitive products in the neurovascular market.
Job Details/Responsibilities
Conduct and support product/clinical education on NV “best practices” with physicians on their initial use, to ensure the safe and effective outcomes for all NV products
Collaborate with Marketing and. Sales to assist development and provide optimal technical/clinical support for product evaluations, physician new-users, challenging cases, clinical in-services, and other physician training and educational support programs on all NV products
Conduct and support account CEU programs for product/clinical education on the initial use and support the marketing and sales teams to integrate “best practices” and ensure consistency on optimal clinical techniques for product evaluations, launches, new-user training, and completion of controlled clinical trials and case series
Lead research and analytics on competitive products and their potential impact on NV business; provide recommendations and support for development of product positioning, education materials, and product development programs
Interface with representatives from key functional groups, to drive success of NV products, development, and other programs.
Advance new product development including physician preference testing, pre-clinical testing, evaluation of new products and new product technical case support as needed
Lead analysis and reporting on clinical performance issues and support post market surveillance as needed
Lead the development of clinical education materials along with Product Marketing and Clinical Research for use by clinical, sales, and distributors globally
Support sales team with timely responses to clinical product and procedural questions
Provide virtual/remote case support to physicians and Territory Managers, over a variety of platforms including MS Teams, Facetime, phone calls, text messages, WhatsApp, or other approved communication methods
Training requirements for this job will entail complete knowledge of the entire vascular system (cardiovascular) with an extensive knowledge of neurovascular, disease processes and treatment strategies as they relate to the use of all NV products; operating room/angio-suite protocols, sterile techniques as they relate to endovascular treatments; blood borne pathogens as they relate to endovascular treatments; radiation protection; and familiarity with hospital departmental (neuro) policies and procedures
Assist the sales team in various tasks, including, but not limited to, hospital consignment scans and reconciliation; reporting defective products; dropping off/ picking up products to hospitals; and purchase order collection and processing
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Knowledge of complete vascular anatomy (cardiovascular system) and physiology with an extensive focus on knowledge of neuro anatomy and physiology
Neurovascular/Peripheral catheterization knowledge, techniques, and skills
Understanding of project management, clinical study project, trials, and personnel management
Ability to effectively interface/communicate with sales staff, cross-functional teams and worldwide distributor organizations
Moderate computer and iPad skills with working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and maintaining customer databases
Ability to effectively interface with physicians, staff, and hospital administration and
Sales, Marketing peers, R&D, Engineering, and Clinical Research staff
Qualifications/ Background Experiences
Technical degree, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and relevant prior work experience
Registered Radiologic Technologist (R.T.) CV, VI, Registered Nurse (R.N.) or Endovascular, Cardiac background with a minimum of three to five years of experience in the Angio-Suite (or equivalent) interventional procedures, with experience in neuro endovascular therapies as a technologist or nurse preferred
Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of Endovascular or Neurovascular industry experience or a minimum of five (5) years as a Neuro endovascular interventional supervisor or manager in a hospital setting
Understanding of project management, clinical study project, trials, and personnel management
Ability to recognize normal and abnormal disease processes as it relates to clinical cases and the use of NV products
Ability to effectively articulate NV product use, concepts, outcomes, and clinical advantages
Ability to effectively interface with physicians, staff, and hospital administration
